Love Island fans work out 'dodgy' reason Sammy recoupled with Casa Amor's Amber
Love Island fans aren't convinced Sammy Root recoupled with Amber Wise, 19, for genuine reasons.
This evening's instalment of the ITV2 show saw Maya Jama return to the villa to deliver the results of the Casa Amor recoupling.
Sammy, 22, was up first and opted to chose Amber, daughter of Chelsea legend Dennis Wise, rather than hold out for Jess Harding.
"Two girls in particular stood out," Sammy told Maya and the boys when explaining his choice around the firepit.
"I’ve been getting to know the pair of them. One in particular just caught my eye a little bit more.

Amber's dad Dennis was a professional footballer until 2006 and made 593 throughout his playing career, taking on midfield roles during his time at Chelsea and for the national team. The I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star also managed Millwall, Swindon Town and Leeds.
Sammy's decision was major blow for Jess, who returned to the main villa single, but Love Island fans are sure this isn't the end for Jess and Sammy's budding romance.
"Sammy is going to get back with Jess. They just had to get Dennis Wise’s daughter in the Villa," one viewer mused on Twitter as the show aired this evening.
"Her dad is Dennis Wise he’s thinking about them season tickets pls," another suggested, as a third quipped: "Dennis Wise may as well get Amber because she looks as depressed as f***! #CasaAmor #Loveisland."
Amber referenced her dad's career before entering the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell, saying: "Tyrique’s a carbon copy of the boys I have previously dated. Football is a big part of my family. I would want them to fit into my family.
"Maybe Tyrique and Ella (are the most solid couple) but they always seem to be up and down. As soon as Ella is in Casa Amor, I think it’ll be out of sight out of mind for Tyrique – especially when I head into the villa!"
Other Love Island fans took issue with the age gap between Sammy, 22, and teenager Amber during this evening's episode.
"This Sammy boy only coupled with this 19 year old because she’s the daughter of Dennis Wise. Warra joker #LoveIsland," one fumed on Twitter, with another agreeing: "not sammy sitting next to a literal child! dennis wise pls come and collect ur underage daughter #loveisland."
A third added: "Sammy chose Amber??? The fact that she's a teenager too."
