Woman hospitalised after botched eyelash infection leaves her with infected eye
A woman has left people horrified after sharing the disastrous results of her botched eyelash extensions – which left her being rushed to hospital.
When Dyreante Notto booked herself in for the beauty treatment, she had no idea that the luxury treat would take a horrifying turn.
Instead of getting long, lush lashes, the 24-year-old was left with an infected eye that doubled in size and leaked puss.
Sharing the before and after clips on TikTok, viewers have been left horrified with 1.7 million viewers so far.
"I noticed things weren't right almost a few hours after the appointment because my eyes would not stop burning," Dyreante, who is a student, said.

"I didn’t want to go back to the salon and let them take the extensions out because I already felt they had messed my eye up.
"So, I begin to take the lashes off with oil and the right side came off with ease.
"However, on the left side, those lashes didn't want to come off at all and I even tried to cut them down to access them more – but nothing!"
After having no success at removing the right lashes, Dyreante decided to suffer through the burning and swelling, hoping it would go down, as she had an important exam to attend to.
However, symptoms only worsened and the student eventually ended up rushing to the hospital.
She said: "As I began preparing for the exam, I told myself I could do it even though I could barely even see.
"I proceeded to place a large bandage over my right eye to stop my left eye from constantly leaking.
"However, immediately after my exam, my sister had to rush me to the hospital because my eyes were in so much pain and my vision was completely blurred.
"At first I went to an urgent care centre, but I was immediately told to go straight to the hospital.
