Kim Kardashian's ex husband Kris Humphries opens chicken shop
Kris Humphries has opened a fast food restaurant this week, with him understood to have launched the franchise site, which specialises in chicken, with his family.
The former professional basketball player, 38 - who was briefly married to Kim Kardashian, 42 - is believed to have ventured in the hospitality industry after he retired.
He's said to have opened a host of franchise restaurants in his home state Minnesota, including Five Guys branches, with his family and has confirmed the latest venture.
Kris took to Instagram yesterday to announce the "soft open" of a Dave's Hot Chicken branch in Minnetonka, with family and friends in attendance, ahead of its launch today.
He showcased some of the food that features on the menu, including fries, burgers and chicken tenders, in a photo that he shared with his followers on the platform yesterday.

Dave's Hot Chicken - created by Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan - launched as a parking lot pop-up in Los Angeles back in 2017.
It was reported last year that Kris and his family had a deal for numerous branches, with the former basketball player sharing excitement on social media at the time.
He wrote following the announcement last year: "Super excited to bring [Daves Hot Chicken] to Minnesota with my family. This is the best chicken ever! Get ready Minnesota".
The Business Journals reports that he said in a statement last year: "Dave's Hot Chicken checks all the boxes for the kind of restaurant brand we want to be involved with, and has all the potential for massive growth."
Kris had a career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 2004 until his retirement in 2019. He played for teams including the Dallas Mavericks and the Atlanta Hawks.
It was during his time in the NBA that Kris began dating reality TV star Kim back in 2010. The couple got married the following year, which was documented by an E! special.
Their whirlwind relationship - which featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians - however ended up being short-lived. Kris and Kim's divorce was later finalised in 2013.
