Christopher Maloney sparks worry after unrecognisable results of latest surgery
Christopher Maloney has sparked major concern after he showed off the results of a recent eyelid surgery he had done, with the former X Factor star fearing he has 'gone too far' this time.
The singer, 45, who rose to fame on the ITV talent competition back in 2012, took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off the gruesome results of his latest cosmetic procedure which seemingly looks like an eyelid lift.
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is cosmetic surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids and the aim is to improve hooded or drooping eyelids or eye bags.
Christopher shocked fans by posting the painful-looking results of his procedure, as he admitted that he is plagued by body dysmorphia - a mental health disorder which causes sufferers to find flaws in their appearance that are often not noticeable to others.
The singer's latest Instagram offering shows his bruised face and his eyes covered in stitches as he struggles to see through them.

It wasn't long before the singer's followers took to the comments to urge Chris to stop going under the knife.
"Chris! Please please stop doing this to yourself. You are thoroughly beautiful inside and out. You really don't need to do this to yourself," one commented.
"This is a cry for help if ever I've seen one. Please stop doing this to yourself and seek therapy instead," another echoed.
"Oh Chris this looks so painful you poor thing. I wish you knew how beautiful you really were without all of this stuff," someone else wrote.

EastEnders actor John Partridge also commented: “Chris I hope you are ok? You've got my number... use it!”

Overall, Chris previously admitted to forking out a whopping £60,000 on cosmetic surgery over the years.
He has undergone three hair transplants, two nose jobs, an eyelid lift and veneers in recent years and now finds that he cannot stop himself from altering his appearance.
During an appearance on This Morning back in 2015, Christopher revealed that he decided to go under the knife for the first time due to the excessive amount of trolling he received on social media over his appearance.
At the time, he admitted: "The X Factor was great, but as the series was going on, I was getting really bad trolls.
"I was called Mr Potato Head, that I was ugly, that I had a big nose, and it just affected me so much, and at the end of the final, I did have a breakdown.
"I feel so much better now. It has made me more confident and now I'm looking forward to the future."
