Kevin Spacey "took a moment" to say good morning to those assembled outside Southwark Crown Court as he arrived this morning, PA reports.

Spacey, who previously denied 12 charges against four men including sexual assault and indecent assault, was seen arriving at Southwark Crown Court via a taxi this morning.

He wore a dark navy blue suit, light blue shirt and pink tie and was photographed smiling and waving while making his way towards the court, where the trial has begun.

Kevin Spacey has been pictured smiling as he arrives at Southwark Crown Court today.

The 63-year-old sported a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt underneath along with a pink tie.

Actor Kevin plead not guilty to three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, in January.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2005 and 2013, during which he was an artistic director at the Old Vic Theatre.

Trial begins today

Spacey is appearing at Southwark Crown Court today to face 12 charges dating between 2001 and 2005.

It is alleged to the offences took place in London and Gloucestershire.

He pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, in January.

He had previously denied four charges of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

Spacey was charged with four counts of sexual assault and one of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity, which he denies.

He later pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent between 2001 and 2005.
