Jordan Banjo shares sweet way his children help with his body image struggles

I'm A Celebrity All Stars campmate Jordan Banjo has opened up on struggling with his body image as a member of Diversity.

Opening up in an exclusive chat with Mirror, Jordan explained he wanted to change his mindset after having children.

He said: "For me personally, I've only started trying to be [comfortable with myself] in the past couple of years since I had my kids.

"Before that, I'll be honest, I’m known for being in Diversity, which is obviously a big group of guys, half of which sneeze and gain an extra ab, I’m the kind of guy I breathe and I gain a stone.

"When you're in that environment and we’re quite competitive with each other it becomes the norm and ratings to anybody who works hard enough to feel that way and for them and that’s how they want to look but you shouldn’t feel pressurised to constantly look like that."

"I feel like it took me a long time to get to that place in myself where I kind of felt you can just be happy however you are, obviously be healthy but also be happy," he continued.

"The only reason I really took that approach is because with my kids I never wanted them to be in a position where they're 10 or 11 and they're unhappy with the way they are for no reason other than what they think other people will think. I think that's a really sad place to be."

The Diversity star, who is partnering with Oasis for a new campaign focussed on being proud of who you are, shares three sons Cassius, five, Mayowa, three and two-month-old Atreus with wife Naomi Courts.

On Wednesday, Helen, Jordan Banjo, Made In Chelsea stars Miles Nazaire and Emily Blackwell partnered with juice drink Oasis by transforming the iconic Soho Square Gardens in London into an exotic Oasis tiki bar.

Oasis' new campaign is all about being proud of yourself and not feeling pressure to change with the brand stating: "With Oasis, you’ll be the same person you were before you drank the juice, just better refreshed. Oasis’ aim isn’t to change people’s life, it’s simply to change people’s lunch hour."

Explaining why Jordan wanted to be a part of the The point of a campaign is we're not trying to get you fitter, sexier, it’s genuinely about being yourself. And we will take you how you are, we want you to be happy, it's very rare you hear that. If you see a campaign or an advert how often is it someone says, ‘Listen, mate, you're wicked’? Very rare."

Oasis Senior Brand Manager Dorothea Drews said: “We’ve been so excited to launch the new Oasis Exotic Zero drink and we can’t wait for everyone to enjoy its delicious and unique mango and passionfruit flavour! Our aim is to encourage people to ‘Be Your Own Oasis’ and to make their lunch-hours just a tad more exotic, wherever they are.”
