'I'm a DIY fan and painted my fence in minutes thanks to cheap £15 B&Q buy'
A smart DIY whizz has shared their top tip for getting your garden fence looking tip top in no time at all, all thanks to a "game changer" £15 buy.
In a post shared via Instagram, the DIY fan, who is currently turning an 1877 Victorian property into their home, shared how they were able to give four fence panels a fresh lick of paint in just 15 minutes.
The purchase in question is a Dekton paint pad, which you can pick up from your local B&Q store for £14.99. According to this keen DIYer, the paint pad "holds a huge amount of paint", meaning you'll "get excellent coverage [...] without having to keep going back to your tub".
The houseproud individual, who goes by the username @lifeat_greenacres, added that the tool, which is "washable and reusable", offers "great precision for all those hard-to-reach areas that a sprayer wouldn't get"
Praising the product, they advised followers: "If you're thinking about painting your fence this summer you need this tool from B&Q. Holds so much paint and is great for getting into corners you normally couldn't reach with a fence brush.

"Saves so much time and at just over £10 it's a game-changer."
Although they'd had the versatile tool for years, they'd never before thought to use it to paint the fence, and now say they won't go back to their old method.

Followers were left equally impressed by the bargain hack, with one person applauding: "Omg this is amazing".
Another approved: "Genius idea".
A third commented: "Such a great product".
Those looking to smarten up their fences this summer can grab a Dekton paint pad for themselves from B&Q.
Meanwhile, Amazon stock similar paint pad sets for around £10.
