Love Island fans celebrate Ron 'downfall' after egging on boys in Casa
Love Island viewers have been for the truth of Ron’s ‘egging on’ during Casa Amor so he and Lana can stay safe in the competition to come out.
Although Ron decided to stay loyal and even slept on the day bed while Lana was in the other villa, the Islander has come under fire from fans for seemingly encouraging Tom to play away from Samie.
Fans immediately assumed he was trying to sabotage the couples in order to put his own relationship on the ITV2 reality show in a better position.
It seems his actions could come out in the villa after Jessie, Claudia and Samie were sent on an outing to meet the Casa Amor girls on Friday evening
Samie, Jessie and Claudia left the villa to meet Cynthia, Lydia and Layla and during the conversation, Ron’s actions were mentioned.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesLove Island viewers were ecstatic, as one took to Twitter to write: “GET RON YES WE LOVE DOWNFALLS,” as another wrote: “I'm glad that Ron will be held in court for his treachery. He was living vicariously through Tom and Casey because he was out of chance cards.”
A third added: “I’m happy Ron has been ratted out for his sly ways during Casa.”
“They need everyone to have drama,” a fellow viewer wrote. “Looks like Ron won’t be in his happy bubble for long. The girls will definitely attack him for that.”
Another added: “I thought Ron egging on the other boys was to make himself look good and win the show by throwing the others under the bus.”
“I hope someone yells at Ron since the casa girls told them that he was egging the boys on,” another concluded.
It came after Love Island aired dramatic scenes on Thursday evening when the questionable behaviour of the girls and the boys were laid bare as the couples recoupled.
Maya Jama returned to the South African villa to watch the carnage unfold, as each boy decided if he would stick or twist – before he found out what the girls in Casa had done.
Ron chose to stay with Lana, followed by Tom, who also chose to stay with Samie, saying he had decided to “go with his heart”.
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
