England WAGs are planning to recreate spirit of '06 for Euros in Germany

England 's WAGs became such good pals at the World Cup last year they want to reunite for Euro 2024 and have even more fun.

And they plan to recapture the spirit of their predecessors in Baden-Baden in 2006 and let their hair down after being more restricted in Qatar.

They are looking at accommodation across Germany after the Three Lions’ superb start to the qualifiers.

Gareth’s Southgate’s side have won their opening four games including a 7-0 win against North Macedonia.

Their partners, who include Fern Hawkins, 28, wife of Harry Maguire, Jordan Pickford ’s wife Megan Davison, 27, Jack Grealish ’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood, 27, and Luke Shaw ’s partner Anouska Santos, 31, spent time in December on board the £1billion MSC World Europa liner, docked in Doha.

“They have been looking at venues all across the 10 cities,” said an insider. “They want to be close to the nightlife and shopping after being limited in what they could do in Qatar.

“They love to read about the fun the wives and girlfriends had in 2006. They’d like to follow in their footsteps and have a bit more fun.”

The WAGs of 2006 included Coleen Rooney, wife of Wayne, singer Cheryl, then about to marry her now ex Ashley Cole, and David’s Victoria Beckham.

Elen Rivas (Frank Lampard), Abbey Clancy (Peter Crouch), and Louise Bonsall (Michael Owen) also famously partied in the Black Forest spa town of Baden-Baden.

They were left with hotel bills of around £25,000-a-head.

Captain Harry Kane is likely to be joined by wife Katie Goodland, along with Kieran Trippier ’s wife Charlotte and their families.
