While many of the Love Island ladies have been spotted using the near-£500 Dyson Airwrap to style their hair over the last two weeks, last night ahead of Maya Jama’s shock announcement, Molly Marsh was spotted using a much more purse-friendly hair tool.

The blonde bombshell sported beautiful beachy waves and a lime blazer dress, creating her look with a budget beauty device that costs just £25.

In the dressing room, we noticed the 21-year-old styling her locks with the Mark Hill Pick N Mix Handle and Mermaid Waver Bundle - recognisable by its stunning pink and orange handle.

The Pick n Mix wand is incredibly popular with shoppers, because you can purchase multiple interchangeable tools to convert them into a curling wand, pair of straighteners and more. The handle usually costs £17.99, with the mermaid waver coming in at £16.99, but shoppers can save around £10 with the money-saving bundle.

The mermaid waver by Mark Hill is a dead ringer for the which costs £45 more at £70. The tool is known for being loved by former Islander Molly Mae Hague, who has her own line with the brand.

It’s also strikingly similar to the , with the brand’s interchangeable wand coming in at - considerably more expensive than Mark Hill’s.

The Mark Hill waver features a three prong barrel that creates ‘quick and easy’ waves for that effortless ‘fresh from the beach’ look. It’s been showered with praise on the Boots website by shoppers who say it’s ‘easy to use’ and much cheaper than similar products on the market.

One said: “My fave hair tool ever!! I barely reach for anything else, I love the natural waves it gives!! I also love that I can change keep adding to my MH collection by just buying the barrels and swapping them over.”

Another added: “Amazing bit of kit. Was dubious as it was cheaper than others like it but went for it anyway and am so glad I did. It did an amazing job on my fine shoulder length hair and held all night with a spray of light hairspray. Easy to use and comes with a finger glove to prevent burns.”

Others have said that they weren’t keen on the glove, while other complains were that it doesn’t have a temperature control and that the on/off switch can sometimes get knocked easily, but otherwise they love the tool itself, commenting: “I had been looking for a barrel waver for a while and after looking at reviews i finally decided on this Mark Hill waver. It comes with a tiny heat resistant glove which I didn't get on with as its not a full glove, so I use one that comes with another hair tong I have.

“It's brilliant that the waver can be removed from the barrel and you can buy other attachments for it but use the same base, the base comes in a lovely colour. It's so easy to use,I have mid length hair and I can do my hair so quick and I'm left with lovely waves that last until I wash my hair.”

Another said: “They do exactly what I wanted them to but the downside is there is no temperature control,” with a third writing: “Very easy to change stylers. Only criticism is that the on/off button is easy to flick while using so I’ve turned it off a few times without realising. I’m sure I’ll get used to that. Otherwise it’s great.”

It’s not the only cult-loved product that Molly has been seen using this season, either, having been clocked loading up her lashes with the internet-approved MACStack Mascara, which costs £26. But if it's her lush locks you're looking to achieve yourself, you can pick up the Mark Hill bundle for £25 here on the Boots website.
