Leigh-Anne Pinnock has promised Little Mix will reunite as she said her bandmates will “always be my sisters”.

Leigh-Anne, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall announced in 2021 that they would be taking a hiatus from the hugely successful girl group, and the following year, they performed their final gig at London’s O2 to close their Confetti tour, breaking the hearts of millions of fans.

Rumours of a feud between the girls were sparked when Perrie was noticeably absent from Leigh-Anne’s surprise wedding to Andre Gray in Jamaica earlier this month.

The 31-year-old dismissed the reports during an interview on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, as she insisted Little Mix would be back and haven’t split for good.

Asked by Amanda if Leigh-Anne felt “nervous” performing her new solo single Don’t Say Love without her bandmates around her, she said it felt “bizarre” to be alone on stage.

“I literally keep saying that I’ve been punked or something… like they’re just gonna pop out from somewhere, they’re just gonna join me, it’s bizarre but I genuinely feel like it’s the right time,” she explained.

Leigh-Anne said the hiatus was “time for us to spread our wings” as the girl group had been together for 12 years without a break.

She was then quizzed about the timeframe of Little Mix’s hiatus, as Amanda said it was “typical of most iconic bands” who go on an “amazing tour” when they reunite five years later.

“We’re so tight, they are my girls and they’re always gonna to be my sisters, so of course we’re gonna do a reunion, how would we not?” Leigh-Anne replied.

Fans of the band were concerned after it was revealed Perrie, who shares son Axel with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, was missing from Leigh-Anne’s wedding to Andre, as Jade was in attendance at the nuptials.

Perrie then fuelled rumours of a rift when she failed to turn up to the launch party of Leigh-Anne’s solo single, and the 31-year-old seemingly addressed her absence when she told the crowd at the event: “Jade, this girl shows up for me every f***ing time."
