As once tranquil fields across the UK are transformed into huge hedonistic dance floors, there is nothing us Brits love more than ignoring the weather forecast at a swathe of summer music festivals.

While the likes of Glastonbury, Reading, Download, Wireless and Parklife all sell out in minutes, our collective love of live music means that there are still many more festivals taking place from June through to September, many of which you can still bag tickets for.

Whether you are partial to the headbanging sounds of heavy metal, the pounding strobe lights of a live DJ set or simply want to experience the pure crowd-pleasing joy of seeing a chart-topping big hitter, the UK festival scene caters for all.
