Travelodge launches huge sale with rooms for £38 or less over summer holidays
Travelodge has put thousands of room up for sale for less than £10 per person, per night.
For a group of four the £38 family room work out at just £9.50 per person which is cheaper than a portion of fish and chips and an ice cream at the beach.
The rooms are available in Travelodge hotels across the country, meaning there is plenty of scope to visit a new city, seaside town or countryside retreat.

Travelodge also has lots of hotels offering sea vistas, including Rhyl Seafront Travelodge hotel, where every room looks out to a sweeping view of the water.

The cheap rooms come at a good time, as the majority of Brits are planning a summer holiday despite the cost of living being so high.
A survey conducted by Travelodge found that 63% of Brits have booked a summer holiday this year - a 50% increase from the number of Britons (42%) that went away in the summer of 2022.
Nearly three quarters (72%) of these holidaymakers have opted to stay on British shores this summer.
Brits are extending their length of holiday from an average of three days to five days and they are spending nearly double the amount of money on their British summer holiday this year compared to 2022, according to the survey.
Staycationers are splashing out on average £1011.30 for their holiday, whereas last year they spent on average £513.13.
Shakila Ahmed, Travelodge spokesperson said: “Our latest research shows that Britons are prioritising and taking a well-deserved staycation this summer, despite the rising cost of living; as a break has become one of life’s necessities.

Travelodge has family rooms from £8.50 per person over February half term
Travelodge is currently undergoing a period of expansion. In May it announced plans to recruit 400 new staff over the summer at its hotels and head office.
The company said a mixture of full-time and part-time jobs and flexible hours were available, adding they were ideal for parents and students. Jobs include managers, bar and cleaning staff and receptionists.
While the company has not said how much the different positions will be paid, Indeed.com has average pay ranges for some positions at the hotel chain, as reported by former workers. Indeed claims pay ranges from approximately £9.20 per hour for a porter to £10.42 per hour for a night team member.
In February it was announced that Travelodge had plans to launch a new hotel in Spain with the same bargain prices as its UK branch, by taking over the Villa de Coslada hotel in Madrid.
When the hotel is open for business, guests will be able to bag a family room for the night for £34.
