Mitch's 'harassment' of Molly concerns Love Island viewers who vow to call Ofcom

Love Island viewers have been left perplexed and concerned as they vow to complain to Ofcom over Love Islander Mitchel Taylor's "harassment" of Molly Marsh.

The former partners have recoupled but only after the drama was caused by Molly sharing a steamy kiss with bombshell Zachariah. Molly and Mitchel had initially been seeming to gel at the start of the ITV show with odds on them being winners, but the spark soon fizzled out.

However, after a dramatic recoupling, Mitch was determined to win Molly back despite her clearly stating she wants to get closer to Zachariah, even though he's now coupled with newcomer Charlotte.

After the dust had settled following the recoupling and an Islander being forced to exit, Mitch pulled Molly for a chat to put his feelings on the line. Telling Molly she was the one for him, he pleaded with her to give their relationship another chance as they get to know each other more.

The display of honesty and affection seemed juxtaposed with his behaviour the previous day after Molly and Zac's kiss, where Mitch had vowed that he was "completely done" with the blonde theatre performer.

Despite Molly pushing back to Mitchel and telling him that she was "at her happiest" when spending time with Zac, he continued to push her to try with him.

Viewers at home rushed to social media shocked at his behaviour, which they labelled as "harassment" and "uncomfortable."

One viewer tweeted: "The producers need to pull Mitch out of the villa at this point. He is harassing Molly. OFCOM!!!"

Another shared: "Mitch needs to be reported to Ofcom he’s making me feel so uncomfortable."

"Where is OFCOM when you actually need it? Cause this is mental TV," said a third.

Another shared: "I’m close to putting an OFCOM complaint about Mitch. This Dirty-Macking sesh is TRIGGERING me."

A fifth urged other viewers to put a complaint to the regulatory body as they wrote: "Ppl need to start sending OFCOM complaints about that Mitch guy."

Another slammed Mitch as they tweeted: "I’ll be writing to Ofcom actually. because Mitch needs to leave the show. he is not a stable man."

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
