After years serving an Evangelical congregation as its minister of worship, a preacher left the church altogether to start an OnlyFans with his wife.

Religion has always been a major part of 34-year-old Vagner O Fera's life — he grew up in a strict Christian household and subscribed heavily to the values of his faith.

Bella Mantovani, 31, had a similar upbringing.

The two grew up together and feel deeply in love, and before long, they were married.

Tying the knot allowed the couple to have sex — copulation before marriage is strictly forbidden in the Evangelical religion.

But O Fera's position within the church quickly put a strain on the couple's marriage, especially their sex life.

O Fera said he felt pressure from the congregation and said many of them were "hypocritical and preferred to do things in secret and judge others who did things openly."

People were not very accepting of the couple's lifestyle, he said — they have an open marriage and attended swingers' events at the time: practices that are also strictly forbidden in the Evangelical faith.

So, in mid-2018, O Fera left the church to avoid "people's judgement" so the couple could live their lives in peace.

Money was tight, however.

For a while, O Fera helped Montovani run her family's pie company, but it soon went out of business, leaving both out of jobs.

The couple needed to find another source of income.

They were introduced to the idea of making X-rated videos and content together at one of the swinger parties they attended and decided to create an OnlyFans account.

They had recently started exploring their fetishes together, O Fera said, and creating adult content was another way for them to discover their tastes.

When they first began creating adult content, the couple continued to attend church but were judged by the parish, causing them to leave altogether and focus exclusively on their OnlyFans.

O Fera still believes in God, however, and said he prays every day.
