Love Island viewers hit out at Molly-Mae for starting 'painfully annoying' trend
Love Island viewers have hit out at previous contestant Molly-Mae Hague for starting a "painfully annoying" trend in the villa.
The hit ITV2 show has returned to screens with a fresh batch of singletons on the search for love in the summer sun.
Yet fans already seem annoyed at one contestant for appearing as a "Molly-Mae wannabe".
Molly-Mae's appearance on the show back in 2019 saw her become one of the show's most successful Love Islanders after she came runner-up with beau Tommy Fury.
During her time in the villa, Molly-Mae was comforted by having her cuddly toy with her.

Ellie Belly became an icon of series five as she formed a bond with Tommy.
Molly-Mae took her teddy bear into the villa back in 2019 (ITV)But now new Islander Molly has revealed her own comfort toy as she shared a bed with Mitchel Taylor on Tuesday's episode.
To Mitchel's surprise, Molly said she had coined the toy by the nickname Plop.
It quickly sent Love Island fans into a frenzy as they slammed the new contestant for following the "trend".
One fan said: "Omg here's another bringing in a teddy. Oh Molly-Mae you started something."
"Molly studied the Molly-Mae Love Island playbook intensely she was doing 12 hour revision for days," added another.
Someone else agreed: "Molly-Mae really started something with Ellie Belly now everyone is bringing their teddy to the villa."
"I swear every year there is always one girl that brings a stuffed toy thinking she's the next Molly-Mae," wrote a fourth.
A fifth quipped: "The stuffed teddy thing is cringe now. Let's leave it to the Molly-Mae season."

One fan wrote: "Yeah Molly and Mitchel will definitely see the finals. Already got their own teddy bear - it's giving Molly Mae and Tommy vibes#LoveIsland. "
A second added: "I’m scared for Molly and Mitchel Because it’s day 2 and they are already giving couple goals it’s just too soon for me but they cute#LoveIsland."
"It's so bait Molly and Mitchel are probably gonna be the faves to win. Yawn #LoveIsland," a third penned, with a fourth writing: "molly and mitchel are either going to win or become an absolute disaster #LoveIsland."
One fan was convinced the pair might have known each other.
"She who brings the toy, wins the show. Mitchel and Molly going all the way #LoveIsland," another commented.
