Beyonce and Jay Z's 'billion dollar baby' as they launch Blue Ivy's career
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly preparing for Blue Ivy Carter to follow in their footsteps, with her performances on tour recently said to have been "merticulously planned".
Blue Ivy, 11 - who is the eldest of the couple's three children - has joined her mother Beyoncé, 41, on stage during the latter's Renaissance tour in Europe in recent weeks.
This has included her taking to the stage alongside her mother for a concert in Paris last month and having more recently performed alongside her at a concert in London.
It has been claimed that acclaimed artists Beyoncé and her husband, 53 - whose real name is Shawn Carter - are preparing for their children to follow in their footsteps.
Amid the tour, a source told Heat magazine recently: "Blue Ivy's appearances on stage were meticulously planned out way in advance and her mum was totally behind it."
Beyoncé announces 2023 tour dates - but major cities are missing from line-upThe outlet claims Beyoncé is 'ready to pass the baton down to the next generation,' adding that her and Jay-Z are preparing for their three kids to 'follow in their footsteps'.
The source said: "Beyoncé [believes] Blue can be even more successful than she and Jay-Z have been, but she tries to manage expectations around it and do things step by step".
Discussing the tour appearances, the source alleged that the suggestion it was a "surprise" helped "ease the pressure" on Blue Ivy, though claimed she had rehearsed for it.
The source claimed to the outlet that she was "prepped and put through her paces" in rehearsals and practice sessions, both at home and backstage on the Renaissance tour.
It's claimed that Blue Ivy is still getting used to performing on stage and fame, with the source saying that Beyoncé has been empowering her and that Jay-Z is "proud" too.
Beyoncé has shared photos of Blue Ivy on stage during the Renaissance tour in posts on Instagram while touring, including in a post that was uploaded around a week ago.
Alongside a photo from the tour and two clips, she wrote: "My beautiful first born. I'm so proud and thankful to by your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel".
The source concluded by saying there's a "real confidence" building that Blue Ivy - who is already a Grammy Award winner - is "at the start of something special".
The Renaissance tour isn't the first time that Blue Ivy has performed on stage with Beyoncé. She joined her in a concert at the Atlantis The Royal in Dubai earlier this year.
