Gary Lucy responds to Laura Anderson pregnancy news after they split after scan
Gary Lucy has broken his silence and addressed Laura Anderson's pregnancy announcement.
Former Love Island star Laura, 33, announced the happy news she is expecting her first child on Wednesday in a joyous Instagram post - telling fans: "Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23".
But it was swiftly revealed the mum-to-be had reportedly split from the father of her unborn baby ahead of giving birth - with Gary said to be "devastated" after the reality TV star ended their romance.
The Hollyoaks actor - who met Laura on Celebs Go Dating last year - has spoken publicly about the fact he is expecting his fifth child later this year.

"There she is [love heart emoji]," Gary began when writing to Laura.
"So very proud of you Mummy Bear. cooking Baby Bear perfectly."
The parents-to-be met thanks to Celebs Go DatingReports on Wednesday claimed Laura and Gary had called time on their whirlwind relationship, after weeks of speculation following the pregnant star admitting to going through a "difficult time" of late.
Gary confirmed the pair were no longer an item as he said: "I love Laura but we are no longer together.
"My main drive as always is to work together to co-parent our child. I look forward to the arrival of the new baby," he added to The Sun.
Gary is said to be 'devastated' about the split (Instagram)Meanwhile, a source claimed: "Gary's been left devastated - he's absolutely heartbroken.
"They spent Christmas together and he travelled to Glasgow last weekend in a desperate attempt to try to win her back, they enjoyed a meal out and attended their first scan together - but Laura was adamant it's over."
Gary and Laura met on Celebs Go Dating last year, which the Love Island joined after her split from Dane Bowers, 43, whom she had been going through IVF with before their split.
Speaking about Gary after the dating show, Laura told Closer: "[My time on the show] was a success. It doesn't really matter who you end up with as long as you're both happy.

Laura recently sparked rumours about their relationship status as the former flight attendant shared a series of cryptic posts on social media.
Alongside a snap of herself posing alongside her beloved dog, she wrote on her Instagram Stories: "I know I've been quiet on here and not myself this week or so.
"I'm going through a very difficult time, I actually don't think I've ever felt so stressed in my life.
"As we know Instagram isn't real life but over sharing negativity has never been something I like doing. Anyway my thought of the day for us all is - never lose yourself or your voice."
