A motorist who was banned from driving "drew attention to himself" in this bright green supercar.

Police Bolton, Greater Manchester, also stopped the man in as he was driving in an "anti-social manner" last night.

He was arrested and the luxury car, in a luminous shade of lime, was seized by officers.

Sharing a photo of the motor on Facebook, Greater Manchester Constabulary offered other drivers a "top tip", which was lauded by social media users.

Facebook users also poked fun at the hapless motorist, reports Manchester Evening News.

"Today officers from E relief have seized this motor vehicle as the driver drew attention to himself," a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, Bolton West, wrote.

"Top tip, maybe don't drive a high powered expensive bright green motor vehicle in an anti social manner if you're disqualified from driving.

"The driver has been arrested for a number of offences and the vehicle seized by police."

Mirror has attempted to contact the force today to establish if the man has been charged.

One man posted on Facebook: "Hilarious that he has been caught!"

Another user said: "Brilliant, that is so funny."

A third said: "What a way to bring attention to yourself."

One man urged police to "get the crusher started" in a playful post.
