Teddy Soares focusing on 'feeling zen' as ex Faye Winter takes a cryptic swipe
Teddy Soares is focusing on making sure his home is a tranquil and relaxing space following his split from Faye Winter.
The former Love Island star, 28, and the former estate agent from Devon ended their relationship earlier this year after finding love in the Spanish villa during the 2021 series of the ITV2 show.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Faye seemingly took a swipe at her ex-boyfriend, admitting she was "still finding things out literally until a couple of months ago" about their relationship.
"In social media, it’s really hard and I think you don’t want to believe sh*t, you want to see the good in people, you want to really believe that he wouldn’t do it," Faye confessed on the Saving Grace podcast
She then dropped a bombshell: "But I’ll never know, I wasn’t there in that hotel room."

Chatting to the Mirror just days before Faye's explosive podcast aired, Teddy was in a positive and reflective mood after recently renovating his home with the help of Dulux.
"Having that feeling of zen is so important to me," Teddy explained to the Mirror on Monday. "That's why this campaign fell at the right time really in terms of the transition I'm going through - I had a break-up at the beginning of the year."

It's so important to make sure, for me anyway, to make sure that space is kept to a point where you can feel 100% comfortable. If not, everything else around you will feel like a mess."
Using a bright and bold 'heartbreak palette', Teddy gave his living room a beautiful makeover to mark a new chapter in his life, drawing inspiration from his Nigerian and Portuguese heritage.
"One of the reasons I picked the colours was because I wanted that connection to my heritage and upbringing and making sure that I'm always aware of that," Teddy explained.
"So the colour was perfectly chosen to represent the Nigerian flag. When I have these little reminders of what it was like growing up it ties into the reminder of where I came from and who I am."
Teddy is loving his home's new look (Delux/ Cirkle)He added: "This campaign is closely connected to this period of my life where I am appreciating more so the values and shining through my values. The process of starting the painting was daunting in itself - I've never painted - so that change of making sure I get it right... I don't know what's going to happen outside the heartbreak.
"But the achievement and sense of accomplishment with the Dulux campaign, painting this living room, it resonates where I am at in the sense of things are going to be okay.
"That's the reminder I get every single time I walk into the room - it looks beautiful."
Commenting on Teddy's 'heartbreak' makeover, psychologist and mental health expert, Dr Lalitaa Suglani says: "Redecorating after a breakup is a great way to help you start to move on. The whole process of rearranging your home and giving it a new look can be therapeutic and empowering.

"It can provide you with a cathartic outlet for your emotions and a way of feeling in control, as you choose how you want your home to look and feel. Reorganising and decluttering are also a healthy way of regaining control and feeling relief."
"I’m going through a huge transitional phase of my life, after going through a break-up at the start of the year," Teddy adds.
"Adding colour to my walls has helped to create an uplifting space and act as a reminder that there’s so much brightness to life. Change can be scary, but these colours have brought optimism to home and have created such a huge impact in a short space of time."
