Selling Sunset's Jason Oppenheim hails 'inspirational' ex Chrishell and G Flip

Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim has hailed ex-girlfriend Chrishell Stause and partner G Flip as "inspirational" following their recent secret wedding.

Oppenheim Group co-owner Jason and former American soap star Chrishell started dating in the summer of 2021, which caused a stir in the Californian real estate office during their seven-month romance.

The thought of relationship also caught the attention of the viewers of the popular Netflix series as the cameras delved further into their romance.

The ups and down were broadcast through season five of the reality TV show before the two went their separate ways after Jason admitted he was not ready to start a family.

However, Jason has insisted the two remain "really good friends" since their split and it has not impacted the work dynamic between them.

In an interview with Extra, Jason said: "We’ve been texting back and forth this morning, just, you know, joking. We’re great. We’re great. We’re really good friends now.

"We’re in a really good place. Her and G are in an amazing place. And yeah, we’re gonna be very good friends."

Chrishell married her partner G Flip after one year of dating after the actress featured in the Australian singer's music video for hit single Get Me Outta Here.

And Jason says he has no hard feelings towards his ex-girlfriend and heaped praise on Chrishell for following her heart after their break up.

He said: "I think they really are because… we have pressures on us from society and from press and what have you, and not to mention all the comments from everyone.

"So I think it’s difficult to be willing to venture outside of a box, and that’s what she did, you know, she just followed her heart.

"I think that she must have recognised that there was going to be a lot of criticism from people, but she followed her heart, and I think that’s inspirational. I give her credit for that."

Jason also revealed that he knew about his ex's wedding to the Australian musician and joked that he was "mad" for not getting an invitation to the nuptials.

He did concede that it made sense for him being absent due to the wedding being "so private".

Earlier this month, the 41-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share a video of their relationship timeline, which included some pictures from the intimate ceremony.
