Furious dad of daughter murdered in bed tells suspect 'pitbulls are after you'
The dad of one of the University of Idaho students brutally massacred in their beds has warned suspect Bryan Kohberger that the "pit bulls are after him."
Dad of victim Kaylee Goncalves gave the chilling warning ahead of Bryan Kohberger's arraignment on Monday.
The 28-year-old criminology student at nearby Washington State University is charged with the murders that shocked the country last November.
The brutally slain bodies of Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves, both 21, Xana Kernodle and her boyfriend Ethan Chapin, both 20, were found in their off-campus student house in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13 2022.
After a tense six weeks, where students fled the small city in fear, Kohberger was arrested at his parents house in Pennsylvania.

Ahead of the suspected killers appearance in court, Steve Goncalves, father of victim Kaylee Goncalves, told NewsNation: "This family will do everything in their power to make sure that if... the evidence rolls out and we know that this is the person, then he has got pit bulls after him.”
He added: "We're gonna be there at every moment, analysing every piece of data … to make sure that it is the right person and we hold them accountable."

In January he vowed to be in court to look Kohberger in the eye.
He told NewsNation he would "look him in the face and let him know this is not going away anytime soon."
Kohberger is accused of sneaking into the college town rental home at around 4am on a Saturday and butchering the four students, some of whom who were allegedly sleeping when the slaughter began.

He was a PhD student at Washington State University's department of criminal justice and criminology.
A preliminary hearing — where prosecutors must show a judge that there is enough evidence to justify moving forward with felony charges — had been scheduled to begin June 26.

But on Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Kohberger on the same criminal charges, effectively rerouting the case directly to the state’s felony court level and allowing prosecutors to skip the preliminary hearing process.
Steve was left heartbroken by Kayle Goncalves' deathEvidence tying the suspect to the case includes his DNA being recovered on a knife sheath left on a victim's bed, authorities said.
Other evidence included security footage where a white Hyundai Elantra is seen, which investigators said was driven by Kohberger, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Investigators also contend that a cell phone belonging to Kohberger was near the victims’ home on a dozen occasions prior to the killings, though it was apparently turned off around the time of the early-morning attack.
