Denise Welch looked amazing at a star-studded event on Wednesday night, after making a candid and honest admission about her past mental health struggles.

The Loose Women presenter, 64, was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the Rainbow Honours at the National History Museum in London, with Blue singer Duncan James and newly single Vanessa Feltz also in attendance.

As always, Denise, 63, dressed to impress at the annual event as she donned a colourful striped blazer which she paired with a pair of dazzling sequin black jeans.

Denise was all smiles as she was joined on the red carpet by fellow Loose Women panellist Linda Robson who looked fabulous in a pink maxi dress.

Elsewhere, Vanessa Feltz dazzled in a sequin burgundy gown as her hair and makeup were styled to perfection.

Celebs Go Dating star Sinitta oozed glamour as she posed on the red carpet in a figure-hugging turquoise gown while Great British Bake Off legend Prue Leith turned heads in a striking royal blue ensemble.

Blue's Duncan James looked as dapper as ever in a suave three-piece suit as he beamed on the red carpet.

The Rainbow Honours celebrates leading LGBT+ activists, allies and celebrity figures who have worked to advance the rights of LGBT+ people during the past 12 months.

"There were so many deserving LGBT+ people and allies who have been rightly recognised this evening.

"It is fantastic to be part of this wonderful awards ceremony," host Anna gushed when commenting on the winners.

Founder Linda Riley added: "We were delighted to be able to honour the work of the personalities, celebrities, brands and allies who have stood in solidarity with the LGBTQI community during what continues to be an incredibly tough time.

"They have spent the past 12 months advancing the rights of our community in the UK and across Europe.

"All of the winners and nominees are incredibly deserving."

Phillip Schofield was nominated for the Celebrity LGBTQIA Champion gong alongside stars like Adele Roberts and Rylan Clark, but wasn't present at the Natural History Museum in London earlier tonight to hear who beat him to be announced as the winner.

The Dancing On Ice presenter was nominated alongside Graham Norton, Adele, Rylan, Heather Peace, Kit Connor. Michael Gunning, Tom Daley and Yasmin Finney for the Melrose Celebrity LGBTQIA Champion award.

Dame Kelly Holmes, who came out as gay in an interview with the Mirror last year, was the one to be beat off the competition and be announced as the winner of the star-studded category at the National History Museum.
