Emmerdale stars tease romance for unexpected characters amid affair twist
Emmerdale stars Tony Audenshaw and Samantha Giles have teased there could be a new romance on the cards for their characters.
Bob Hope and Bernice Blackstock share a moment next week on the ITV soap, and it's now been teased it could lead to a new relationship.
Just as Bob's partner Wendy Posner begins an affair with Liam Cavanagh, Bernice's ex, it seems there could be some partner swapping going on.
Next week, spoilers reveal that Bernice leans in for a kiss with Bob after realising she has feelings for him – but she's mortified when he rejects her.
Cast members Tony and Samantha have now hinted that it might lead to more though, and that Bob may feel the same way.

Emmerdale stars Tony Audenshaw and Samantha Giles have teased there could be a new romance (ITV)Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Samantha explained: "I think she does have genuine feelings for him. She's developed genuine feelings, she develops feelings quite quickly for people because she's quite lonely but they are genuine for Bob."
Tony then said: "Yeah, it's hard to say. I think he's always found her really attractive and I think he loves the fact she is so feisty and he loves being told what to do in a way, so yeah."
He added: "He's always sort of found her attractive and could never have imagined her trying to kiss him. The near kiss stirs the feelings up for him."
On whether Bernice likes Bob, Samantha went on: "He is very different to any man she's been with before. They're trying out wines because they are having so many bad reviews at the B&B so Bob takes it into his own hands, and he gets load of wine and persuades her under duress.
Bob is with Wendy (ITV)"She doesn't want to do the spitting into the bucket thing so starts drinking it, and they get a bit tipsy and there's a bit more opening up of hearts to each other.
"He leans towards her as if he is gonna kiss her but sort of tops her glass up, then in the next scene they start talking about the right person and she goes towards him thinking it could be the moment to kiss him and he pulls away very abruptly."
She then said on whether there could be a future for them: "She's realised to her surprise there is a physical attraction... who knows, we don't know but it's fun."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
