Comedian and Hollywood star Kevin Hart has responded after being called out by Boston Celtics ' Jayson Tatum after his historic game seven performance.

Tatum scored a Game Seven record 51 points in the win over the Philadelphia 76ers to see the Celtics advance to the Eastern Conference finals, overcoming a 3-2 deficit to their rivals in the series.

Throughout the game, it was Tatum who stole the show after a somewhat lacklustre few games for the C's in the series. He silenced all doubters against the Sixers to see them advance, where they will rematch the Miami Heat in the next round.

And while Tatum was full of emotion and fired up after the win, he had a few words for famous Sixers fan Hart in his post-match interview on ESPN.

Tatum said: "Special shoutout to Kevin Hart. I want him to still answer my phone calls even after today. No hard feelings."

Tatum and Hart are believed to be close friends, with the comedian quickly reacting to Tatum's words on social media.

On Instagram, Hart posted a video which he said: "What I’m not is a sore loser. It’s not about how you win, it’s how you lose. I’m going to lose like a man. I’m going to stand on mines.

"Jayson Tatum, I hate it but I gotta give you props. Brother, congratulations. A friend you are. A true competitor you proved to be today.

“You showed up, you showed out. You put your foot in our ass. I’m hurting, the city’s hurting. It’s OK. We’ll be fine. We’ll figure it out."

Captioning the clip, Hart wrote: "I’m hurt but I have to be a good sport and show my brother [Jayson Tatum] some love!!!!!

"Congrats champ….Nothing but love for my guy. He shined bright as hell under the big lights….Give that man his love. P.S Kiss my a** man….Don’t talk to me for at least 3 days!!!!! Go sixers….Next year."

It looked to be a close game at half-time with the Celtics up just three points while Harden and Joel Embiid had struggled in the first. But in the third quarter, the Sixers duo could do nothing to stop the Celtics completely dominating proceedings - outscoring them 33-10 and effectively ending the game.

The league MVP, Embiid was held to just 17 points while Harden scored just nine, with the team now potentially set to lose Harden this off-season being linked to return to the Houston Rockets.
