McFly's Dougie Poynter 'is dating star of Netflix's The Sandman Yasmeen Scott'
Dougie Poynter has reportedly found love with new belle, Yasmeen Scott, with the pair said to have been dating for nearly a year.
The McFly bassist, 35, and actress Yasmeen, who has starred in Netflix's The Sandman, have kept tight lipped about their romance, however, the relationship appears to be going well.
A source told The Sun : “Dougie and Yasmeen have been dating for ages but have been keeping things very quiet.
“Both of them are very private and they decided not to tell many people or publicise their relationship.
“Dougie actually got together with Yasmeen not long after he split from his ex. It has been smooth sailing since then. They have been on holidays together and are really into each other.”

It was reported that Dougie and his ex-girlfriend Maddy Elmer split up in February last year, after dating for over two-and-a-half years.
Dougie’s relationship with the musician was confirmed in June 2019, when photographs emerged of the pair together outside Soho House members’ club in London.
However, the pair reportedly made the mutual decision to break up last year, after lockdown was said to have had an effect.
Sources confirmed to The Sun at the time: “Maddy and Dougie seemed to be a great match. They had a lot in common, including their passion for unusual animals, like insects and reptiles.

“It was a very upsetting time for both of them, but the decision was mutual.”
The McFly bassist also dated The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge from 2009 to 2010. Following the breakup, Dougie checked into The Priory to be treated for depression.
Frankie is now married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, with the couple sharing two children.

Yasmeen previously dated actor Will Poulter, with the pair being spotted out and about together back in 2019.
Dougie is set to take to the stage with McFly later this year, supporting Lewis Capaldi, after the Scottish singer invited the band to perform at his open-air show in Edinburgh. The singer has announced two dates in August.
