Helen Flanagan has dazzled once again in a shimmery gold gown, just days after an emotional confession.

The former soap star, 32, shared a heartfelt message over the weekend following her split from footballer Scott Sinclair.

It was the first weekend she'd had at home without her three children, who she shares with Scott.

She took to her social media to share a video of herself bare-faced and cuddling her Guinea pig as she expressed how it made her feel.

But just days later, the Rosie Webster actress stunned as she attended the Pride of Manchester Awards.

She kept her long blonde hair swept back as she posed alongside her friend Maddy.

Over the weekend Helen wrote: "So this long weekend was my first weekend that I didn’t have my kids as they were having a good time with their daddy and nanna.

"I usually when my kids go away make sure I go out, usually run to London and get drunk with my friends. I felt like it was time though to face being in my family house on my own which is something I’ve put off for a very long time as I didn’t want to feel sad."

The Coronation Street star added: "But sometimes I suppose you’ve just got to feel stuff and it’s ok to cry x I wanted to share this because sometimes we scroll on Instagram and things can look perfect but in reality, some things are just S**t…

"Also I have a big following of other mums and women that will relate to me and I love that I’ve built a supportive network of women x.

"Anyway here’s some snaps from my weekend me and angel didn’t want to get out of my dressing gown and binge ate Colin the caterpillar cake… honestly Matilda begged me for Guinea pigs and all I do is clean up Guinea pig poo x."

She rounded off her post by writing: "Anyway bring on the week. My house has never been so immaculate x."

Helen split from her fiancé Scott last year and they share children Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, two.

They were together for 13 years, having met in 2009 and got engaged in 2018.

Helen has admitted the couple broke up before she went to South Africa to film I'm A Celebrity in September but decided to keep her ring on in camp to keep it under wraps.

The actress told OK! magazine: "I did wear my engagement ring when I was in the jungle.

"We’d only just broken up, and I didn’t want everyone to be asking, 'Where’s your ring?' I wanted to keep it private for the kids."

She added: "I just hope we can be good friends and co-parent. A lot of people say: 'Oh, stay, make things work for the children.'

"But children need happy parents and they need a happy environment, so it's not always so straightforward."

Helen has been supported by I'm A Celeb pal Carol Vorderman after they struck up a friendship in the latest All-Stars series.
