Love Island's Lana and Ron plan to move in together 'like a normal couple'

Love Island finalists Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have personal property goals before they take the next step in their relationship.

The couple, who finished behind Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan in the ITV2 series earlier this year, spent 24 hours a day together during their time in the South African villa.

Since returning back home to the UK, the loved-up pair have been inseparable, enjoying doing simple things like food shopping together and meeting each other’s friends, but that doesn’t mean they’re ready to move in together just yet.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror at the Pride of Manchester Awards on Wednesday night, Lana explained: “We’ve only had about four or five days apart [since we left Love Island] but I think we’re just taking it slow.

“We each want to buy a house by ourselves first and then we can share houses,” she added with a laugh.

“I think we’ll do it like a normal couple,” Ron mused. “We’ll each have our own space and our own bases and then move in together when it’s that natural development.”

And which city will they set up home in when they do take the plunge and decide to co-habit?

“Manchester,” Lana answered quickly and excitedly.

Ron has never shied away from expressing his love for Lana, admitting that he often struggles when the pair are not together and he spoons his bedroom cushions.

Appearing on Joe and George Baggs' podcast, Not My Bagg, he explained: "We've been out six weeks now, I reckon we've spent six days apart.

"When she's not there, I do text her, it's so bad, I'm like 'Oh this is s**t, innit? I do miss you.'"

He went on to joke: "I'm like 'How far have I fallen? Am I actually that guy?'

"I've got four pillows right, and I'm like this, spooning them, I'm like 'Do you reckon I could get a blonde wig to just pretend she's here?'"

Elsewhere, he sensationally claimed that producers on the programme kept the couple apart, despite their clear interest in one another.

According to Ron, the time frame was to do with the "ordering of the re-couplings".

He claimed: "[For the] first four weeks I was like, 'This is actually p*ssing me off. Can I just get in the couple that I want to be in?'

Ron added: "We are very separated from the girls for the majority of the day; lunchtime, two hours, dinner, two hours, getting ready, probably three hours… mornings, an hour.

"There actually aren’t that many hours that you spend with the girls, so you actually have to get on with the boys. We had so many jokes; things that happened in the bedroom, like playing games or whatever."
