Melissa McCarthy shared a sweet moment with her teen daughter and hubby Ben Falcone as the trio took to the blue carpet at the Little Mermaid premiere.

The family posed for the cameras outside Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on Monday.

Actress Melissa, 52, who plays Ursula in the live-action remake of the Disney classic, blended into the background in a royal blue gown with ruffled sleeves and matching gloves. She completed the look with a pair of heels with a blingy design.

Ben, 49, looked dapper as he stepped out in a black suit and black shirt. And 16-year-old Vivian opted for a black dress with ruffled tiers and a black corset-type leather design. She finished off her outfit with a pair of plain black heels.

While the Bridesmaids star tends to keep her kids out of the limelight, she recently opened up on how she tries to monitor their social media usage too.

Speaking to PEOPLE, she revealed: "We keep track of it. I think it is still something to be really, really watched," she said. "I'm sure I don't do half as good a job as I should because I'm so bad with it.

"We're always kind of reminding them, 'Keep this in perspective. This is not real. I keep saying this is smoke and mirrors and entertainment, which is fine. I've said, 'It's as if somebody takes a character I've played and assumes that's the real me.' But that's an ongoing fistfight that concerns me all the time."

And she's not ready to let her kids leave home anytime soon as they continue to grow up. She joked it will "never happen" and opened up about how one of her kids was talking about switching schools to be educated in Scotland.

She continued: ""Then she [her daughter] did walk past me the next day and she was like, 'Mama, no. You're looking up apartments in Scotland.' And I was like, 'I can get an apartment in Scotland. You can't legally stop me.'"
