McDonald's giving away free McNuggets to mark menu favourite's 40th birthday
The humble McDonald's Chicken McNugget is turning 40 years old this year, and to celebrate, the fast-food chain is giving fans three opportunities to get their hands on some of the tasty treats for FREE.
McDonald's will kick off their birthday celebrations for the fan-favourite menu item later this month with a huge event known as #McNuggetWorthy: The Experience, which will take place at a "London location" that has yet to be revealed on May 30 and May 31.
The experience has been described as an "epic event" that will include McNugget mini golf, as well as ball pits and limited edition merchandise - including McNugget-themed shirts.
What's more, the event is completely free to attend and will be the first opportunity for fans to get their hands on some free chicken snacks when they book their hour slot.

McDonald's is also holding a competition that will let one lucky winner surprise their mates by bringing the McNugget Van to their party to dish out the tasty treat completely free of charge to all party-goers.
The competition to win the McNugget Van opens this week on May 10, and to enter, all you need to do is head to the McDonald's app on the day to find out all the details.
But that's not all, as you don't need to be throwing a party to get your hands on free McNuggets.
The third and final chance to win some free chicken treats can be done by absolutely anyone through the McDonald's app, as a second competition will be launched for a chance to win 4,000 in McDonald's Reward Points - which can be used to redeem six free McNuggets.
You'll have to be quick to get your hands on the points though, as only the first 50,000 entrants will receive the 4,000 reward points, and the competition closes on May 23.
If you do manage to get your hands on some free McNuggets, you'll be able to pair them with some tasty new dips from McDonald's too, as it was announced last week that four new dips are coming to the menu.
The Mega Hot Sauce dip and the highly anticipated Garlic Mayo dip are both dropping on May 10, followed by a later release of the Chipotle Mayo dip and the Creamy Ranch dip on May 31.
