Prince William is all smiles as he prepares for tonight's Coronation concert at Windsor Castle.

In a behind the scenes video posted to Twitter, Prince William looked dapper in a green shirt with his top button undone, with blue jeans and black shoes as the final preparations are being made ahead of tonight's spectacle.

In the 12-second teaser clip posted to the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Twitter account, a producer's voice can then be heard saying 'ok Prince of Wales, it's time for your rehearsal'.

He then walks out of a lift and on to a stage where there is a microphone waiting for him.

It comes as plans for tonight's King's coronation concert were thrown into chaos two days ago as one of the performers was forced to pull out last minute due to a 'mystery illness'.

Freya Ridings will no longer take part in the spectacle alongside the likes of Katy Perry and Take That.

But singer Zak Abel will reportedly take her place. The likes of X Factor star Olly Murs and pop sensation Paloma Faith will also be performing.

BBC presenter Zoe Ball will also no longer be taking part in the coronation.

But with a line-up also including Lionel Richie among many other fabulous performers, the concert promises what should be a great night of entertainment to round off the Coronation celebrations.

The concert, hosted by Downton Abbey actor Hugh Bonneville, will see Hollywood star Tom Cruise, Dynasty actress Dame Joan Collins, adventurer Bear Grylls and singer Sir Tom Jones appear by video message.

The series of pre-recorded sketches will reveal little-known facts about the monarch and will also include moments from beloved literary figure Winnie the Pooh – seemingly echoing the famous moment Paddington Bear drank tea with the Queen during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
