I'm A Celeb's Shaun Ryder blasts 'two fake' campmates and exposes Paul Burrell

I'm A Celebrity South Africa's first evictee Shaun Ryder has blasted two of his fellow campmates for being "fake" and claims Paul Burrell is "acting up" to the camera.

The Happy Monday's star, 60, was the first to leave this year's pre recorded All Stars series alongside Gillian McKeith, 63, on Friday night.

Yet the singer has now suggested former camp nemesis Gillian and ex royal butler Paul, 64, are acting up to audiences back home.

Viewers believed they were in for a treat as Gillian and Shaun came face to face again after their infamous clashes on the main series 13 years ago.

"I've bumped into Gillian at least ten times in the last 12 years with her kids, with my kids, and I thought we're all good," Shaun told The Sun.

However, upon entering camp Shaun felt the TV nutritionist wanted to "do battle".

He also found Gillian's sneaking of contraband into the South African camp "typical", before calling her 2010 fainting episode "a load of b******s".

Shaun also took aim at Paul Burrell for his over the top reactions during trials, hinting they are not genuine.

"I love Paul Burrell, but the end of the day Paul comes from a pit village. Paul's dad was a miner, Paul is hard as f***," he revealed.

Shaun left I'm A Celebrity after losing a challenge with Gillian.

He was asked to choose who he wanted to compete with but fans think he picked Gillian because he wanted to go and suspected she was the weakest teammate.

After leaving the jungle, Gillian addressed being picked by Shaun for the challenge, she said: "I thought there’s no way Shaun is going to pick me. I’m the last person you’d pick, right? He comes back and I’m lying there, enjoying my bed, chatting to Janice and he then says he had to pick someone.

"I hear my name and I said ‘what, is this pay back for 2010’? Honestly, why did he pick me? I tried to convince him to pick Fatima as he might have won [the trial]!

"I wanted to win, I’m not a defeatist at all. And I really want to take my best shot but because it was a race, just as I got started, we lost.

"I’m disappointed by the way that I had to go out. I didn’t want to leave. I think if it was voted for by the public I would have had more trials."

Since leaving the ITV show, Shaun has spoken out about his weight-loss journey, confirming he has lost two stone after taking the diet drug Ozempic.

He told the Sun : “Being 60 with hip problems, thyroid problems, f**king testosterone problems and everything else. People have noticed I don't have any f**king eyebrows and eyelashes, from my alopecia.

“Basically, you know, the jungle slapped me right across the face and said calm down mate."

Shaun revealed he struggles with an underactive thyroid and how hard it is to lose weight with the condition.

He added: “I think I was 16 stone and now I'm down to 14 because of them jabs you stick in your belly, that they say the Kardashians are on? Ozempic. I've been on them and I’ve lost two stone.”

Ozempic, an appetite-suppressing jab, has allowed Shaun to resume cycling, which he has said helps him stay clean from drugs.
