GMA's Robin Roberts left terrified after intruders break into back garden

Good Morning America presenter Robin Roberts filmed an unexpected encounter with two terrifying bears who were trying to climb into their backyard.

Robin shared the astonishing moment with her Instagram followers as she filmed the ordeal with her extremely worried partner Amber Laign.

In the video, Robin can be seen trying to calm Amber down and considering calling someone for help.

She captioned the footage: "We had visitors in our CT backyard & as you can hear Sweet Amber was a weee bit stressed."

Robin is heard telling Amber: "Get away from the window" and Amber replies: "I am" as the bears struggle to pull themselves over the fence.

A clearly worried Amber says: "Oh my God" before Robin asks "Should we call someone?"

The bears then wander off and she wrote: "Got bored and decided to move on" then added: "We called our neighbors to let them know they now have visitors."

Robin added: "Thankfully everyone safe…just a slice of weekend #countryliving. Don't see this in NYC!"
