The Nolan sisters were filmed singing in a rare performance held to celebrate sister Bernie, ten years after she passed away.

Bernie died in July 2013 from breast cancer, aged, 52.

Sisters Anne, Maureen, Linda and Coleen took to the stage, dressed in long gowns, and belted out a rendition of their famous hit, I’m in the mood for dancing’.

Anne uploaded a clip of the performance to her Instagram account, alongside a picture of herself with her sisters, Maureen, Linda and Coleen.

Anne wrote: “There is no party like a Nolan party! Great night raising money for a great cause at #TheBernieNolanCelebrationBall hard to believe it’s already been 6 years! (white love heart emoji).”

Bernie, who was the second youngest Nolan sister, died in 2013, after being diagnosed with the disease in April 2010.

A statement at the time read: "Bernie passed away peacefully this morning with all of her family around her.

"The entire family are devastated to have lost beloved Bernie, a wonderful wife, adoring mother and loving sister, she is irreplaceable. They kindly ask people to respect their privacy at this difficult time."

After her initial diagnosis, Bernie underwent breast reconstruction and chemotherapy, announcing she was free of cancer in 2012. However, only months later, the disease had returned to her left breast, brain, lungs, liver and bones.

Both her sisters, Anne and Linda have also battled cancer.

Linda, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 and had the all-clear in 2006, was told that the disease had spread to her brain, hip and liver.

She revealed that doctors were going to treat her with a new ‘wonder’ drug, alongside chemotherapy.
