Jada Pinkett Smith has finally spoken out after it was announced her Facebook show Red Table Talk has been cancelled.

The 51-year-old was emotional as she said she was "sorry" to see the people who had worked on the talk show "disband".

Taking to Instagram, Jada wrote: "We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband."

Fans need not worry, however, as Jada said she is trying to find a new home for her popular series.

"We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come. We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we'll see you soon," she wrote.

Meta is pulling the plug on its Facebook Watch originals, including Jada's popular Red Table Talk.

The move comes amid Meta's cost-cutting initiative and will see the show come to an abrupt end after five seasons.

Other shows being axed by Meta include Steve Harvey's Steve on Watch and a number of docuseries hosted by Yara Shahidi, JoJo Siwa and Becky G.

Going forward, Meta's entertainment team will focus on creating virtual-reality experiences in Meta Horizon Worlds.

The changes coincide with Meta's layoff of 10,000 roles company-wide.

This follows the 11,000 staffers who were made redundant at the end of 2022.

Red Table Talk first aired back in May 2018 and has gained a huge following ever since.

The show is hosted by Jada, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her daughter Willow Smith.

The trio discussed a mixture of personal, professional and sometimes sensitive topics on the show and were joined by a number of celebrity guests.

Some of their guests included Kelly Osbourne, Ireland Baldwin and even Jada's husband Will Smith.
