Two teenagers were stabbed and a man was knifed to death in the street in a grisly 31 hours in the capital.

On Tuesday evening, a 14-year-old was stabbed in East London. And 12 hours later a man was stabbed to death in West London.

And on Wednesday evening a huge brawl in East London resulted in one being taken to hospital with stab wounds.

The incidents were not connected.

It comes after the Mirror uncovered how easy it is to buy terrifying zombie knives online without being checked for age.

The investigation uncovered a seller on TikTok and Snapchat tempting buyers as young as 13 with pizza-style door-to-door delivery.

It came 48 hours after the Government announced plans to ban machetes and zombie knives amid calls from campaigners.

Here we take a look at the horrific 24 hours of knife crime in the capital.

Tuesday - 5pm

A 14-year-old boy was knifed during an alleged attack in Mayesbrook Park in Barking and Dagenham in East London.

He was rushed to the hospital where his condition isn't believed to be life-threatening.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon. He has since been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in late July.

A number of other suspects remain outstanding.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Natalie Anderson of the Met’s East Area Command Unit said: “We know that the victim was attacked by a large group of boys at the scene and I am particularly keen to hear from anyone with footage of the suspects either at the scene or leaving it.

"We know that for young people contacting police can be daunting, but there is the option of contacting Crimestoppers who will pass information onto us for you and they won’t even ask you for your name.”

Wednesday - 5.25am

Police raced to Brentwick Gardens, Brentford, West London at 5.25am following reports of a break-in.

At the scene, police found the man who was suffering from stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of murder. And three women were later arrested on suspicion of murder. Their ages range from their mid-teens to their early 60s.

Detective Chief Inspector Sal Minhas, who is leading the investigation, said: "My thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased, as they come to terms with his tragic death. We will do everything we can to support them.

"A dedicated team of detectives are working to establish exactly what happened and identify who is responsible. Officers will remain at the scene and I would ask anyone with information about the incident to contact us immediately, no matter how minor the detail.

"Tackling violent crime remains a top priority for the Met. This incident serves as a reminder that we still have more to do in this area. We continue to work alongside the communities we serve to stop violence."

Wednesday - before midnight

An 18-year-old was rushed to hospital with stab injuries and it was thought to be in a life-changing condition.

Emergency services have raced to the scene on Brightlingsea Place, near Limehouse, East London.

No arrests have been made.

A spokesperson told the Mirror: "Police were called on Wednesday, 26 April to a report of a stabbing on Brightlingsea Place, Tower Hamlets.

"Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found a man, aged 18, with stab injuries.

"He was taken to hospital in a life-changing condition. A crime scene remains in place; no arrests have been made."
