A moisturiser from Boots is receiving high praise from shoppers who suffer with eczema and dry skin - and it’ll set you back just £7.99.

The fragrance and paraben-free Aveeno cream has been proven to help eczema prone skin, and has received over 1,300 five-star reviews from eczema sufferers claiming 'it works within just two days of using it' and they 'can’t live without it.'

As well as eczema, the moisturiser can also be used to prevent dryness and skin irritation caused by skin dehydration - and it’s suitable to use on any part of the body, but especially on dry patches such as your elbows and knees.

Many shoppers have even said the moisturiser has been recommended by doctors and pharmacists to calm their eczema, and that they’ve seen better results from using this £8 cream, over prescribed steroid creams.

One delighted customer said: “I have suffered from hand eczema for years. Doctors have prescribed various steroid creams and none have improved the condition. I sought advice from a pharmacist who recommended Aveeno. I use it daily and sleep with a cotton mitten on hand with lots of Aveeno. Within 48 hours my eczema is almost gone. I am recommending Aveeno to everyone! It’s a miracle.”

A second delighted shopper added: “I bought this product to help with dry skin/eczema underneath my eyes. With it being a very sensitive area I only tried a small amount and within 2 days it cleared up completely. I will definitely be buying more of this, it’s amazing!”

While a third said: “Purchased only a few days ago and am genuinely shocked by the improvement to my skin! I’ve had a rash on my elbow that is likely eczema or Psoriasis (undiagnosed.) Last week it was spreading and very angry, red, swollen and itchy. After just a few days it has calmed down, almost completely.”

Many shoppers also use it as a base under makeup and say it leaves their skin looking dewy with a healthy glow.

It's suitable for babies from 3 months too who may be prone to eczema. You can pick up the Aveeno Cream with Natural Collodial Oatmeal 100ml here for just £7.99.
