Manhunt as 4 criminals break out of prison with one gunning down church pastor
A massive manhunt is underway after four inmates escaped from jail with one now believed to have killed a church pastor while on the run.
The four were found to be missing during a routine headcount at the Raymond Detention Center, Mississippi, on Sunday.
One of the suspects - 22-year-old Dylan Arrington - is believed to have gunned down a church pastor during a carjacking.
Anthony Watts, 61, was shot and killed Monday night around 7 pm on Interstate 55 after he pulled over to help a man who had wrecked a motorcycle.
Police say that man shot Pastor Watts several times and then stole his Red Dodge Ram.

The four broke out of the Raymond Detention Center, Mississippi (ABC 7)“Based on information gathered from investigators, the suspect ... fit the description of 22-year-old Dylan Arrington,” Jackson Police Chief James E. Davis said.
Police tracked down who they believed to be Arrington, to a home in the town of Carthage.
A two-hour stand-off ensued before a shootout erupted with the police. An "unidentified deceased person" was later found in the home, which had caught fire. It is not yet known if the dead person is the suspect.
Police say as the building was consumed by flames, someone was still shooting at police from the building. One police officer was shot in the leg.
In addition to Arrington, the escaped inmates have been identified as 51-year-old Jerry Raynes, and Casey Grayson and Corey Harrison, both 22.
Mr Raynes has a long history of escaping from jail facilities and had already escaped from the Raymond Detention Center in 2021, according to local authorities.
It is believed the four escaped through holes in their cells and in the prison roof.

Casey Grayson, one of the missing four (Twitter/TyreeSheriff)Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the men might have camped out on the roof before fleeing the facility and going their separate ways.
The four were in custody for various felony charges, most involving theft. Arrington had charges of auto theft and illegal possession of a firearm, WAPT-TV reported.
Watts’ stolen Red Dodge Ram, which has tan trim and Cowboys stickers on the front and the back, was last seen heading south on I-55 in Terry, Mississippi, police said.

It is believed the inmates escaped through the prison roof (ABC 7)Jones said one of the prisoners stole a Hinds County Public Works vehicle that was later recovered in a suburb of Houston. Investigators also believe a stolen Chevy Silverado is connected to the escape. None of the men had been captured as of Tuesday afternoon.
In July, a federal judge ordered a rare takeover of the jail after he said deficiencies in supervision and staffing led to “a stunning array of assaults, as well as deaths.” In December, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals stayed that order after the county filed a motion for reconsideration.
