Succession star Brian Cox set for new role in James Bond spin-off Amazon show

As Logan Roy, he left many of his long suffering family very much shaken (and stirred).

Now actor Brian Cox has revealed his next assignment: a James Bond spin-off style show.

He is set to appear as “The Controller” in Amazon’s 007’s Road to a Million, which sees contestants competing to win up to £1million.

Filmed in Bond locations from the Scottish Highlands to Venice and Jamaica, it will be a “true test of intelligence, endurance, and heroism”.

Cox will reportedly be lurking “in the shadows… watching and controlling everything.”

He explains: “I got to see how ordinary people would cope with being on a James Bond adventure.

“As they travel the world to some of the most iconic Bond locations, it gets more intense and nail-biting.

"I enjoyed my role as both villain and tormentor, with license to put the hopeful participants through the mangle.”

007’s Road to a Million, which is being made with James Bond producers EON, will launch later this year.
