Levi Bellfield allegedly confesses to murdering student, 19, who vanished
Levi Bellfield is set to be quizzed by police after allegedly admitting to the murder of a 19-year-old student, it is reported.
The serial killer is currently serving two whole-life sentences for murdering three people including Marsha McDonnell, 19, French student Amelie Delagrange, 22, and Milly Dowler, 13.
At the time of Bellfield's conviction for Milly’s murder in June 2011, detectives said they believed he may have been responsible for 20 unsolved attacks on women.
He is now said to have written a signed confession to killing Elizabeth Chau, a 19-year-old law and business student who disappeared in April 1999.
The teenager was caught on CCTV as she walked to her family home in Ealing, West London from Thames Valley University. She was never seen again.

He is believed to have handed the confession to his solicitor, Theresa Clark, last month.
Ms Clark told The Sun: "I have passed it to the police. He is likely to be interviewed under caution."
He is also alleged to have admitted to "blitz attacks" on 17-year-old Jessie Wilson in South West London, 23-year-old Sarah Spurrell in Hastings and 26-year-old Sonia Salvatierra in Twickenham.
Police are understood to have told Ms Chau's family, who reportedly declined to comment.
Speaking in an interview 12 years after her disappearance, Elizabeth's brother, Minh, told of their daily pain at not knowing her fate.
He said: "We have no closure and live with the pain every day. Any information we can get will help the family.
"Having a loved one go missing is about the worst thing that can happen. We are always thinking of her and can't move on.

"She didn't go out that much and was dedicated to her studies. It has affected my parents so much."

Mr Chau said that the family needed to know her fate even if it meant it would confirm their worst fears.
He said: "When she didn't come home that night we were immediately worried. She was a very responsible girl and would always contact us if she was going to be late.
"She just went to Thames Valley university where she studied business to drop off an assignment and we expected her back shortly after.
"For six months after her disappearance we had 100 friends and family dropping leaflets to find out what happened to her.
"This is what the family finds so baffling. She was last seen on CCTV footage at 6pm outside the police station.
"It is a very busy road and it is amazing that no one has seen anything."
Nine months after she vanished, computer graduate Lola Shenkoya, 27 disappeared from the Ealing Broadway area in January 2000. She is still missing.
Serial rapist Andrzej Kunowski, who died in 2009, was quizzed over both cases as he was local to that area but no concrete evidence was found to link him to the disappearances.
Bellfield is currently being held at Frankland Prison in County Durham.
The Mirror contacted the Metropolitan Police, which declined to comment.
