Emmerdale may have given away that Kim Tate is on to Caleb Miligan, and his revenge plan against her.

During Friday's episode of the ITV soap, she made contact from Dubai after business partner Caleb recently told her she needed to go there, to fix an issue with some developers she was in business with.

They'd been told she was in financial difficulty and threatened to pull out of their current deal, while it was all set up by Caleb.

Caleb is working against Kim in a bid to steal her fortune and Home Farm, with the help of nanny Nicky who is his secret son.

It was revealed Caleb was the secret heir of Frank Tate, Kim's ex, and he plans to destroy her in revenge for the past and also wants the fortune she stole.

In the latest episode Caleb hit a bump in the road, when Kim made contact and revealed she'd agreed to a new business deal.

Will Taylor told Caleb about his partner Kim's new plans, but confirmed that it was up to Caleb to sort it all.

Kim did not speak to Caleb herself despite Will offering to hand his phone over to him, and Caleb was left with a big task to carry out.

She told Will to tell Caleb to put the money down she had offered for the new deal, saying he had to pay for all of it while she was away.

Unaware that he is broke and doesn't have the fortune he claims to have, she tasked Caleb with paying her share as well as his own, saying she would pay him back later.

With Caleb setting things up to steal money from Kim, he doesn't really have the money to put back into genuine businesses.

Caleb was clearly panicked by Kim's request and wasn't sure what he was going to do, which sparked suspicion with Will.

But could this be Kim's way of testing Caleb after recent goings on, knowing there is a mystery heir out there wanting Frank's money?

It would certainly be quite the twist if Kim was setting up Caleb to see if he can go through with it, or to get money from him after he managed to convince her to send him some cash recently.

It comes as soap boss Jane Hudson recently told The Mirror that there was another big secret linked to Caleb that was yet to drop.

Teasing more ahead for Caleb, she said: "We have revealed who Nicky is, there is still something else to find out but I'm not going to tell you. Not all the secrets have been revealed yet.

"There is something else we are going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past who turns up as well and we will be left wondering what this means for Gabby.

"We know they are planning a wedding so is that going to go off? Is it not? Meanwhile, how is Cain going to react when Caleb nearly sends Moira into financial ruin, which is a whole other story that's playing out.

"So when Cain finds out his brother is responsible, how on Earth is it gonna play out when they are trying so hard to have this relationship? Is it all going to be doomed?"

Asked when Kim Tate will find out that Caleb is Frank Tate's son and out for revenge against her, Jane said: "Soon, very, very soon. There is not long to go, it will be after the coronation but before the soap week."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
