A woman took to TikTok to share her new food obsession of baked beans and cheese on chips - but many people have been left repulsed by the combination.

TikToker @abbeytaylorbannigan frequently posts clips of her foodie lifestyle and shares new things which she has tried for others to follow.

But one clip, which has now raked up more than 171,000 likes, has caused a huge stir as it shows quite a unique combination.

Us Brits love our chips and will have them with basically any meal - but some have been left pretty mortified by her new find which could be too far.

In the clip, the woman is plating up her dinner and can be seen pouring some chips onto her plate.

From there, she adds a good helping of salt followed by a generous quantity of grated cheese - this sounds a pretty lovely tea so far, right?

But it is what she adds next that has caused debate.

After the cheese, the foodie douses her meal with a cup full of baked beans and then even more cheese as you can never have too much on chips.

In the caption to the piece, the TikToker said: "My newest obsession."

But in the comments some have been left less than impressed by what is quite an odd combination..

One person wrote: "I want to cry."

Many others were not hugely impressed and suggested the combination was "gross" and would turn into a "soggy" mess.

Another penned: "This is so British I can't."

"Ok, I love beans but not with cheesy chips," stated a different commenter.

But not everyone was so against the combination, as someone else noted: "It looks really good to me, not going to lie."
