Trent Alexander-Arnold produced a scintillating performance for Liverpool against Leeds - and became the fourth player to reach a remarkable Premier League achievement in the process.

The 24-year-old provided two assists in the Reds' 6-1 rout at Elland Road on Monday evening to keep Liverpool's slim top four hopes alive. Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota both grabbed a brace, while Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez also found the net for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Although Salah was given the Player of the Match award, Alexander-Arnold was nothing short of sensational on the night and deserved the plaudits he received from pundits and fans alike. It looked as though the England international was back to his best in a more advanced role, where he often vacated a midfield position.

Alexander-Arnold dropped into midfield and also stayed out on that right-hand side to provide width and support for Mohamed Salah, who sometimes came into the centre to help Gakpo and Jota. This also happened during Liverpool's 2-2 draw against Arsenal on April 9 as Klopp tweaked his system to get the defender more involved.

It worked as Alexander-Arnold also provided an assist for Roberto Firmino at Anfield as the Reds held the league leaders in dramatic fashion. The Liverpool-born right-back further showcased his qualities in the win at Leeds - and did what only four other Premier League players have done since the start of the 2003/04 season.

That is to assist two or more goals, complete 100-plus passes and maintain a pass accuracy over 90 per cent in a Premier League match. With that in mind, here are the three others who have achieved that feat.

Former Arsenal playmaker Santi Cazorla became the first player to join that list back in 2015 for a memorable performance against West Brom. The Spaniard notched two assists in a 4-1 win over the Baggies on the final day of the season as the Gunners wrapped up another successful season.

Cazorla set up Theo Walcott's first, before setting up the now-Southampton winger again as Arsenal scored four inside the opening 37 minutes at the Emirates Stadium. His first assist saw Cazorla feed the ball out wide to Walcott, who fired the ball high into the top right-hand corner.

Then, his second all but capped off a sensational team move from the Gunners. Jack Wilshere played a one-two with Alexis Sanchez before Wilshere fed the ball out to Cazorla, whose first-time cross was tapped home by Walcott. He was superb throughout the 90 minutes, despite not winning the Man of the Match.

David Silva was the next to achieve that landmark after he helped Manchester City to a 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium in July 2020. The Spaniard, who left City at the end of that season, inspired Pep Guardiola's men to a superb victory after previously being beaten at Southampton.

Silva perfectly set up City's first as he was played in by Phil Foden on the left-hand side, before pulling the ball back across the area for Gabriel Jesus to sweep home from eight yards. Riyad Mahrez scored City's second after a brilliant piece of play from Kevin de Bruyne, while Federico Fernandez swept into his own net for City's third.

But then came a moment of brilliance from Silva. He stepped up from a 25-yard free-kick and beautifully curled the ball over the ball into the net, leaving Martin Dubravka little chance. It was a super strike from Silva, and he capped off a stunning performance by assisting Raheem Sterling for City's fifth.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was the final one to assist two or more goals, complete 100+ passes and maintain a pass accuracy of over 90 per cent in a Premier League match. The Frenchman provided two assists on Cristiano Ronaldo's United return against Newcastle in September 2021.

Ronaldo scored the Red Devils' opener at Old Trafford, tapping home the rebound after Mason Greenwood's shot was saved. Newcastle stunned the home crowd when Javier Manquillo equalised early into the second half, before United turned on the screw, with Ronaldo quickly completing his brace.

Then, Pogba brought his magic to the game. He assisted Bruno Fernandes ' wonder-strike, before intricately playing the ball through to Jesse Lingard, who took a touch and slammed the ball home. The midfielder made an excellent start to the 2021/22 season, before tailing off and leaving the following summer.
