Scarlett Johansson makes rare comments about her past marriage to Ryan Reynolds
Scarlett Johansson addressed her marriage to Ryan Reynolds during a recent podcast interview, with her having teased that the former couple "weren't married very long".
The two actors were married from 2008 until their divorce was finalised in 2011, though the pair are understood to have separated the year prior after two years of marriage.
The former couple have both since moved on with other people and their past relationship continues to surprise some people more than a decade after they got divorced.
She spoke about her marriage to Ryan, now 46, whilst a a guest on the latest episode of the Goop podcast, which is fronted by fellow actor Gwyneth Paltrow, 50.
Gwyneth - who has appeared alongside Scarlett in several Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) projects - asked the guest on the podcast: "You've been married two times?"

The podcast host responded: "Oh that's right, because I forgot that you were married to Ryan Reynolds!" Scarlett was heard laughing and Gwyneth further stated: "Goals!"
Briefly discussing her relationship with Ryan on the podcast, Scarlett said: "We weren't married very long, but we were married when I first met you, for Iron Man [2] or whatever."
Gwyneth teased: "We love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house". It prompted more laughter from Scarlett, who then added about her ex-husband: "He's a good guy."
Following her relationship with Ryan, she had been married to Romain from 2014 until their divorce in 2017. The former couple are parents to daughter Rose, now eight.
More recently, she has been married to Saturday Night Live alum Colin. The couple tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed son Cosmo, one, the following year.
Ryan is now married to fellow actor Blake Lively, 35. The couple - who had been co-stars on the Green Lantern - tied the knot in 2012 and have four children together.
They are parents to James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3. Ryan and Blake welcomed their fourth child - whose name has yet to be announced - in February this year.
