Heartbroken residents leave tributes to boy, 2, who died in bath time tragedy
A toddler who died suddenly in a tragic bath time incident has been named.
Officers were called on Monday evening to a home in Knottingley near Wakefield, West Yorkshire, after the two-year-old boy became unresponsive.
The youngster was rushed to hospital but tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
People have now flocked to pay tribute to the little one, who has been named locally as Cody.
Neighbours said mum Sophie Scott frantically called for an ambulance for Cody while he was in a bath on Monday evening, but tragically medics were unable to revive him.

West Yorkshire Police has since confirmed it is investigating his death, which is currently being treated as a sudden infant death.

One mum living in the square said the tragedy has left the community in a state of pure shock.
She said: "Everyone is very shocked about what has happened, it's unbelievable. At least he's up there now with the angels."
Ms Scott and her family moved to the street about a year ago, neighbours said. Another woman added: "I saw the little boy being taken into the ambulance. It’s very upsetting."
Forensic officers were seen working at the semi-detached property on Wednesday as detectives continue investigating the little one's death, with forensic workers seen leaving the home with various items.
One woman who has lived in the area for several years told reporters: "I saw armed response officers arrive before the ambulances and there were tonnes of cop cars.
"It's a close community and everyone was shouting. I was crying.

"I couldn't sleep last night because the last image I had of him was at the window.

"Her parents are good people. Her dad is a lovely man and he and his wife used to bring furniture and clothes for the kids. He worked very hard cleaning the house.
"They wanted the best for Sophie."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called at 6.45pm on Monday, 17 April, to a report of a concern for safety for a two-year-old child. The child was taken to hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced deceased.
"Enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances.
"The incident is being treated as a sudden death in childhood and we ask that people consider the family and respect their privacy at what is clearly a very difficult time for them."
