Frank Ocean praised after talking about brother's death during Coachella set
Frank Ocean might be taking the heat for his heavily criticised set at this year's Coachella festival, but one poignant chat in the middle has been praised in some quarters.
The singer's doomed gig saw fans vent their fury at him for miming some songs, leading to a brutal booing by the audience.
The show had been marked as his big comeback show as he headlined the iconic music festival, but the 35-year-old's experience wasn't all he had hoped for.
Prior to going on stage, a horror injury forced him to make major changes to his set, much to the displeasure of his adoring public.
An on-site rehearsal caused a bad ankle injury in the week leading up to the festival, a source told Mirror.

That meant his reported ice rink on set had to be scrapped, with some sources claiming he made the decision "with no warning".
Fans who had been hoping to see him perform for the first time since 2017 were also left furious over Frank's gig after his set was pulled from the festival's live stream last minute.

During the gig, Frank candidly discussed losing his brother Ryan. His younger sibling Ryan Breaux died following a car crash at the age of 18 in 202.
Frank told the audience: "My brother and I came to this festival a lot, I felt like I was dragged out here half the time because I hated the dust.
"I know he would've been so excited to be here with all of us."
And fans of the star who have also lost family members in a similar way have shared their praise for him speaking openly.
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Simran Rullen, who lost her older brother Pav in a car accident two years ago, praised the star for opening up an avenue to show how death can affect siblings too.

"But the siblings are in the same amount of pain because they grew up together and have so many memories together.

A woman from London called Maisie agreed. She was seven years old when lost her sister, 21, in a natural disaster.
She explained how the death felt like losing a friend. Opening up on how Frank's words could help, she told the publication: "There are going to be people in that audience that can resonate with his words and can feel and share his loss."
She added it could help make it a "less lonely place" if people talk about it.
