Arsenal will look to get their title charge back on track when they welcome Brentford to the Emirates this weekend in a fixture which already has a simmering rivalry.

The two London clubs have shared some interesting battles since The Bees were promoted to the top flight, with Ivan Toney's tweeting infamously causing a stir in the Arsenal dressing room. Thomas Frank's side certainly pose a threat to the Gunners again this time round, with Brentford currently seventh and chasing a European spot.

Mikel Arteta is keen for his men to move on quickly from last weekend's shock defeat to struggling Everton, particularly with pressure continuing to mount ahead of the showdown with Manchester City next week.

When is Arsenal vs Brentford?

The two sides will meet in a Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday February 11 with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Arsenal comfortably swept Brentford aside in the meeting between the two teams earlier this season. Goals from William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira gave Arteta's side a convincing 3-0 win back in September.

What channel is the game on?

Team news

Arsenal were buoyed this week by the return of Gabriel Jesus to the club as he continues his recovery from a knee injury. The Brazilian forward is still sidelined for a number of weeks but will step up his recovery programme in a bid to be fit for the title run-in.

Mohamed Elneny is also ruled out after undergoing surgery on his own knee injury at the end of last month. Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe could be back in contention providing they come through late fitness tests.

Brentford have three players battling to be fit for the fixture, though it may come slightly too soon for Pontus Jansson. The defender is nursing a thigh injury but will be assessed before the game.

Shandon Baptiste and Frank Onyeka are the other injury concerns but stand better chances of being available.
