Super Bowl LVII will be a history-making game as brothers on opposing teams face each other for the firs time in the championship game.

Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs will square off against his brother, Jason, of the Philadelphia Eagles. The brothers are following in the footsteps of the Harbaugh brothers, Jim and John, who coached against each other at Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.

While the 'Brother Bowl' makes an interesting spectacle for fans, the game is a logistical nightmare for their mother, Donna Kelce, who has now spoken about how she's approaching Sunday's showpiece event. Speaking to GQ Sports, Donna explained that she's not going to take sides on Sunday, but will be simply supporting whichever team has the ball. Jason plays center for the Eagles while Travis is a tight end for the Chiefs, so the two will not share the field together while the ball is in play.

Donna said: "I keep trying to tell them it’s 50-50. I don’t care who wins. I just want everybody to be healthy and I’ll be rooting for both of them. I’ll be standing up the entire game because I’ll be screaming for whoever has the ball."

She also opened up on her plans for the day, explaining how she'll approach the emotions of the game. Donna said: "I think we’re going to go to a pregame party and then we’re going to go in and watch them practice on the field and get ready. There’s a lot of entertainment going on at the stadium that day.

"And then go to our seats and watch the game and hopefully be on the field for one of them at the end, so it’ll be fun." She added: "I’ve never been to a parade, and I think I might like to go to one this year. So that would be kind of fun."

There had been a petition for Donna to perform the pre-game coin toss, with the idea being she'll hold it between her two sons. However, that idea has been dismissed.

Instead, the pre-game coin toss will pay tribute to former NFL player Pat Tillman, with four scholars for the Pat Tillman foundation performing the coin toss. Tillman played for the Arizona Cardinals in the late 1990s but left immediately after 9/11 to serve his country. He died in 2004 after a devastating friendly fire incident.

Donna explained: "I can tell you this: I’m honoured that that happened but there’s someone that really deserves it more than I do. Pat Tillman was an Arizona Cardinal and he stopped playing in the NFL to enlist after 9/11.

"He lost his life, so they’ll be doing a tribute for him and I’m pretty sure his family will be on the field. And somebody that put their blood, sweat, and tears for America is much more important than feeding their kids Cheerios on a Saturday morning."
