Love Island star claims Millie Bobby Brown messaged him after stint in the villa
Greg O'Shea has claimed that actor Millie Bobby Brown contacted him after he appeared on Love Island, though he said she unfollowed him shortly afterwards.
His comments come following the announcement that Millie, now 19 - who is best known for playing Eleven on Stranger Things - has just got engaged to her partner Jake Bongiovi, 20.
Millie - who rose to fame on the Netflix show in 2016 - announced the news on Instagram with a photo where she flashed her engagement ring.
The post has prompted an outpouring of congratulatory messages towards her and Jake - who is the son of singer Jon Bon Jovi, 61 - and it has attracted much attention.
The couple appear to have been a topic of conversation on the Six O'Clock Show in Ireland earlier this week, with reality TV star Greg, now 28, mentioning Millie in an episode.

His comments come following Millie's engagement to Jake Bongiovi (Getty Images)Greg - who is among the presenting line up on the show - claimed that Millie had reached out to him after he won Love Island with fellow islander Amber Gill, 25, in 2019.
He said: "I don't know if you want to tell Jon Bon Jovi's son, but she slid into my DMs." The claim surprised colleague Fionnuala Jones, who reacted: "She did not Greg. Did she?"
The reality TV star however continued: "She did. Now it was when I got my 15 seconds of fame after Love Island, she's in my DMs. I'll show you the image afterwards."
He further commented whilst on the live show just a few days ago: "She might have also been in love with Amber, the girl I won with so that was kind of the in".

Greg rose to fame on Love Island, which he won in 2019 with Amber Gill (REX)Fionnuala teased that Millie subsequently blocked Greg, seemingly suggesting that it would have been in response to his split from Amber just weeks after leaving the villa.
Greg suggested that he didn't end up getting blocked, with him instead commenting: "Fast forward two weeks later, unfollowed. She didn't want anything to do with me".
The reality TV star - who briefly returned to his career as a rugby union player following his stint in the villa - has been a presenter on the Six O'Clock Show since last year.
