Succession star Sarah Snook admits cast 'weren't ready to be done' as show ends
Sarah Snook has admitted she is upset about how popular TV show Succession ended after it was announced season four would be its last.
The actress, 35, felt "sad and disappointed" that the HBO drama was coming to an end, and says the cast "weren't ready to be done".
Sarah, who is currently pregnant with her first child with husband Dave Lawson, plays Shiv Roy in the series and found the producer's decision "bold".
Her statements come just after fans were rocked by episode three of the latest series, which featured a huge plot twist.
"Emotionally, all of us weren't necessarily ready to be done with the show because we all love each other so much," Sarah admitted.

"It's a bold decision to go out on a high - it's like 'oh we're really successful, everyone loves the show, we love doing it? Let's cut it'," she told OK!.
"But every thing has to come to an end, and it's not smart to let some thing become a parody of itself."
Yet, Sarah said the news came with a "huge sense of loss, disappointment and sadness".

Following the shock twist in episode three, Succession star Brian Cox revealed how he found out about it.
Brian admits he was told by the show's creator Jesse Armstrong that his character wouldn't make it out of the final season alive.
"He [Jesse] called me, and he said, 'Logan’s going to die'. I thought, 'Oh, that’s fine'.

Sarah was disappointed at Succession coming to an end (Dave Benett/Getty Images for Har)"I thought he would die in about episode seven or eight, but episode three, I thought, 'Well that’s a bit early'," Brian told the New York Times.
"The problem with a lot of television, particularly American television, is it goes past its sell-by date. And the great thing about Jesse and the writers is they wouldn't do that," the 76-year-old said.

The shock death rocked the Roy family, right before Connor Roy ( Alan Ruck ) was set to tie the knot with his fiancée Willa Ferreyra (Justine Lupe).
Before the ceremony could go ahead, the family received devastating news about their media mogul father Logan Roy (Brian Cox).
Viewers watched on as Logan died after collapsing in the bathroom while onboard a private jet heading to Sweden.
The character received chest compressions from a stewardess while his children said their emotional final goodbyes over the phone.
